The worldwide ministry of Mother Angelica is truly astonishing. She has built a globe-circling television and radio network that reaches every country on Earth. Her programs go out seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day, in almost every language spoken by the human race. In addition, she has built a magnificent monastery and pilgrimage center just outside Birmingham, Alabama, which attracts throngs of daily visitors from all across the world. Yet this modest, quiet woman seeks to attract no attention or special honors for herself. She lives modestly as a cloistered nun within the confines of the extraordinarily beautiful monastery. J.H.S.
