November 5, 2007. The Temple of Dendur at the Metropolitan
Museum of Art in New York was the scene of the ninetieth
birthday celebration for businessman and philanthropist
Herbert Irving. A portrait of Herbert and Florence Irving
by John Howard Sanden was unveiled as part of the celebration.

Attorney General John Ashcroft. Friday, November
17, 2006. The official Department of Justice portrait
of John Ashcroft, Seventy-Ninth Attorney General of the
United States, was unveiled in the great hall of the Robert
F. Kennedy Main Justice Building. Attorney General Alberto
Gonzales, left above, presided.
Former Citigroup Chairman Sanford I. Weill. Monday,
January 22, 2007. The portrait of the former Citigroup
CEO was unveiled at the Citigroup Sanford I. Weill Center
for Strategy and Executive Development at Armonk, New
York. The director of the Weill Center, Diane McCoy, stands
below the painting.
Neil Rice Ayer. Monday, November 20, 2006. Neil
Rice Ayer, Jr. above, unveiled the portrait of his late
father at the Ayer Family offices in Beverly, Massachusetts.
In addition to an outstanding career in business, Mr.
Ayer, senior, was an international leader in equestrian
sports and activities. |
